Once you have removed the old cover After that, use a flathead screwdriver to pull out the four major attachment clips on the passenger side of the fob assembly. They are marked in red on the picture below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots shown in yellow that must be removed also.
Replace the battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the opening on the fob, and the "-" side should be facing the buttons made of rubber.
Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done that take the fob for the driver's side back into your vehicle and test it. Press the push button on the front of the key. If everything is working correctly, the parking lights should be on and the doors will close.
